Yoga
Sanga Festival is an unique
and proudly South African festival - bringing together SA's leading
yoga teachers, musicians, renowned speakers, and much more -
all in a setting of breath taking natural beauty. We're
talking about fun in the sun and dancing under the stars. Hiking
on peaceful trails and swimming in the river and enjoying the views of the surrounding
mountain peaks is an added bonus. Early morning meditations and evening
satsang's - it's an all-out ecstatic celebration in the most awe-inspiring
location in the world. Location The
festival is taking place in the peaceful and picturesque little hamlet of Greyton,
Western Cape (only 140km from Cape Town & about a 2 hours
drive). Greyton village is at the foot of the majestic Sonderend
mountain range. Mighty oak trees, original thatched cottages, leafy lanes and
breathtaking mountain views form the backdrop to this country gem that will enchant
and delight you. There are 2 main festival venues next door to each
other where all the activities will take place: Uitkyk School and Zebra
Moon Backpackers Lodge (view
map). The scenery is fabulous, the coffee shops tempting and the
villagers friendly. Whether you come for the day, or stay for the full duration
of the festival, you will leave Greyton feeling refreshed and re-energised.
